What is “Social Engineering” ?
I’ve always thought that it was just a technical term for the act of manipulating people to attain information out of them, like Fraud/Phishing/those strange surveys we used to get on Facebook chain letters…

but I saw “The Triangle Conservatives” , you know, the NC Americans for Prosperity Chapter (Read: Tea Party Express Splinter Cell) use the phrase as if it meant something completely different. So what does it mean?
