A large Aesculus, (Horse Chestnut tree) which was magnificent faced the work of men with chain-saws one morning. The tree is not dead; this photo makes me upset. Trees have lives – they should never be "in the way" and cut back like this. A sad urban observation, not a photo taken for its beauty I’m afraid.
