Our Love Of Wool Carpet
Many home decorators choose wool carpet for the home. It is a pleasure to the feet and in particular the toes. Wool is long-lasting and no matter how hard we try we just can’t duplicate its luxury with man-made fibers.
Carpet wool is comes from a specific sheep bred. But before it becomes carpet it is shorn; scoured; combed; spun; dyed; and then woven or twisted into carpet. The fundamentals of this process have not really changed much over the centuries, other than the mechanization of tasks that were once done by hand.
Nothing suggests luxury like real wool carpeting and this is why we love it so much.
