So you need a new floor. But how to choose the perfect flooring is a difficult question. If you think the first thing you need to do is go to the local flooring shop – think again. An impulse buy because it looks good in the shop is not the perfect buy.

You need to decide what sort of flooring you want before you go anywhere near a store. And only go to the store once you have done thorough preparation and have readied your home for the change.

In order to do this you need to – Take pictures; Collect swatches; Draw pictures and ; Coordinate a back up plan.
